Accessibility

Last updated October 13, 2026

We want everyone who loves Paul to be able to read this page and give, whatever device or assistive technology they use. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What that looks like here

  • Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a “skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • Text and background colors meet the 4.5:1 contrast standard, including the small print.
  • Headings are in order, every page has one main heading, and the page regions are labeled for screen readers.
  • Every photo has a text description. The address, phone number, and giving steps are real text, not images.
  • The gentle motion on the page turns off when your system asks for reduced motion, and nothing moves on its own.
  • You can zoom the page as far as you like.
  • There is no cookie banner, no pop-up, and no accessibility overlay widget.

The giving form

The online form is run by De La Salle High School’s provider, DonorPerfect, on their site. If it gives you trouble, you can give by check instead, or call the school’s Office of Advancement & Alumni Relations at 504-895-5717 and they will help.

Tell us what is in the way
